Wants $10,000 From His Neighbors

A neighbor's row in Northfield ias resulted in the commencement }f two suits in the circuit court. The suits are brought by Fred Boos, r., and he asks for $5,000 damages ach from Martin Ryan and Cather ne Ryan, claiming that they have andered him. ín his deciaration oos claims that on May 7th,during discussion before a number of ther parties, both of the defendnts made statements dam aging to his haracter. He alleges that among ther remarks made by them were hese: "You are a robber, "You are thief and I can prove it," and 'You are a burglar and you picked peddlar's lock in my barn and I an prove it." He also claims that ie Ryans made these and similar emarks to other parties. The same llegations are made in the declaraions in the suits against both of the parties. There has been ill feeling etween Boos and the Ryans for ome time which before have resultd in suits for assault and battery.
