Detroit, June 11. - A horse driven by Samuel Lernay of Cleveland became unmanageable on a ferry boat going over to Windsor and the buggy to which it was attached was backed against another in whicb were Thomas Kennedy, paving contractor and his wife. Kennedy's buggy was overturned and both he and his wife were thrown on the deck of the ferry boat. Mrs. Kennedy says she was in great pain and as soon as the boat landed Dr. Cruikshank was called. He found that her collar bone and one rib was broken. Sha was taken to the resideuce of her son on Sandwich street west in Windsor. Kennedy called Officer Langlois and had Leniay placed under arrest, claiming that he had caused the accident intentionally. Lemay gave security for his appearance and was allowed to go. He was on his way for a drive through the country back of Windsor, but af ter his misfortune he changed his rnind and returned to Detroit.
