Ü.ALAMAZO0, June 12.- The will of the late Senator Stockbridge was I uiitted to probate Monday. It givea ths ' hoinestead. household furniture, pictures, horses, vacant lots corner of Main and Carmel streets. and a lot at Mackinac speoially to Mrs. Stockbridge, The balante of the estáte is giveu to James L. Houghteling, his nejjhew, to act as I trustee for a time not exceeding five ■ years, and who will manage the same for that period. Mr. Houghteling will carry on the senators luiuber and mining interests. At the end of the five years, or before. the estáte is to be divided as follows: One-third to ühi widow, Betsev A. Stockbridge, and il' ■ she be not living one-thirtieth to his i sister, Caroline A. Peters, and [ thirtieth to George Mansfield, one-sixth : to Mrs. Caroline ft. Sheldon, one-fith to ■ Mrs. Marcia Houghteling of Ashville, ! N. C, a sister; one-thirtieth to Mrs. Cass Can field of New York, a niece; one-ninetieth to Owen W. Aldis of Chicago, a grandnephew; one-tenth to J. h. Houghteling oí thirtieth to the children's home of Kalamazoo; one-thirtietl to Miss Theodosia Stockbridge of Utica, a sister; one-thirtieth to Mrs. Marcia B. Jenks of Boston. Meanwhile. until the división of the estáte, Mrs. Stockbridge will receive j an in'coiue of $10,ÜU0 a year; Mrs. nelia A. Sheldon, $1,200 per year; Mrs. Marcia E. Houghteling, $1,200 per year; Mary G. Drummond, 400 per year; Misa Theodosia Stockbridge, 6800. and Mrs. Marcia B. Jenks, $400 per year.
