Detroit. June 11.- A Fort street and Elmwood motor car jumped the track at the corner of Twenty-second street at 8:30 aud the trailer car was capsized. The car was loaded with passengers and running at a high rate of speed. Ten people were injured and many others shaken up and bruised. The injured are as follows: MRS. M. WEISS, 170 Howard street. bruised about the head and hands hurc. MRS. A. H. REEVE, 254 Abbott street, sprained hip, at Kmergency hospital. A. H. RKKVE, á54 Abbott street, bruised shoulder. at Emergency hospital. AXXIE ÜKEWLA.ND, 2itó Uratiot avenue, riKht hand badly hurt, at Emergency hospital. F. A. LÉETE, 297 Fourth street, spvained ankle. MKS. WRIGHT, Van Dyke avenue, hands cut aud head bruised. JOHN PETTIE, 557 Jefferson avenue, sprained ankle. MAMIE DrlUILLARD, 295 Gratiot avenue, left hand badly cut. MRS. DRUILLAKD, 295 Gratiot avenue, hurt about body and hands cut. UXKNOWX BOY. leg badly cut. i Both cars were loaded to their fullest capacity with men. women and children. and how soine of them escaped death is tniraculous. There were as many as 70 people on the trailer, which was an open car. Babies, children and ladies were strewn all over the street and their screams could be heard tor blocks. The motor car was running 20 miles an hour and the trailer was bobbing along behind, when suddenly the former leaped from the rails and went crashing into John Reyster's luruber yard. The motor car was f ully off the track before the trailer followed, It continued its course uncil pulled off and then it quickly turned over. Fortunately the motor car struck a pile of lutubei and its plunge was checked. Peopie carne running from all directions to the assistance of the injured, and as soen as possible those who were injured the worst were cared for. Euiergency hospital ambulance was called out and took three of the injured av-ay. Residents in the vicinity threw opsn their doors and invited the rescuers" to carry the maimed inside. In 20 miu ui es f.11 were gathered up aud the tracfc was cleared.
