The Demócrata oí Michigan will rneet Ín Btate convention in the city of Grand Rapicls on the 28th day oí June, at 12 o'clock noon, lor the parpóse oí nominatlng party candldates ior the followlng state offices: Governor, Lieutenant-Governor, Seeretary of State, State Treaeurer, Auditor General, Attorney General, ('ommissioner of the State Land Orfi-c Superintendent of Public Instruetion, Member oí the State Board of Education, and also two candldates for United States Senators: for the selection of a State Central Committee to serve fortheeusuingtwo years, and for the transaction of such other business as may properly come before it. According to the rule adopted by the Democratie State Convention, held in Detroit in 1880, and sinee followed, every county in the state is entitled to one delégate to the State Convention for each 500 votes cast for Governor at the last freneral election. and one additional delégate for a fraction of not less than 25(i votes. Hut each county is entitled to at least twodelegrates. All delegates must be resident.s of the county they represent. The delegates from each con?ressional district a re requeted to meet in caucus on the day of the convention at quarters to be hereafter desisnated by the Central Committee and select candidatos for recommendation to the convention as follows, to-wit: Two members of the State Central Committee, oue Viee-President of the Convention and one member for each ot the followiug committees of the Convention: Credentials, Permanent Orsianization and Order of Business and Besolutions. It will facilítate the working of the Committee on Credeotial.s if the Seöretary of each County Convention will promptly forward to the headquarters ai the State Central Committee in Detroit Immediately af ter the convention, a full and accurate Hst ot the delegates ehosen to the State Convention.
