June 18.- Patrolumn McNally was c;:lled tü 92 Abbott street about 3 o'clock yesterday morning to look after ilabel Barry, a young married womau. who had taken a dose of laudanum for the purpose of couitnjtting suicide. He called the ambulance attached to Emergency hosijitftl and the young woman was taken to that icstitution, where she was given antidotes. Yusterday aftemoon whe was out of danger and 'ieft the hospital. Miss Barry 's paren u live at 483 Lansing avenue, but she worked out until recently. Soine 10 days ago a report was circuiated that she had run away with a butcher. She claimed this was untrue, but she lost her situation. The trouble weighed npon her mind so uiuch that she hired ;he room on Saturday and decide J t kill herself.
