Farmer H. D. Platt, of Ypsilanti, has again secured office. He has been made president of the league of republican rebels, formed at Detroit last week, for the assassination of Farmer Rich. It is understood that the league have böund themselves with an oath similar to that taken against one of the great apostles of old. The conspirators swore they would neither eat nor drink till they had killed Paul. It will require more than one runavvay and smash-up to knock the fight out of Farmer Platt. He is after the governor with the gallop of a greyhound and the grit of an emery wheel and doesn't care who know
