On account of the reeent dry weather the hay erop in the vjcinity of Leónidas will be light. Tlie commeucement exercises of the Chesaning unioii schools wïll be held Friday evening. The comraon council at Battle Creek j voted to bond the city for L10,000 for the building of sewers to give the unemployed of the city work. No one will be employed on the work exeept residents.
