Two More Cases Of Smallpox
Detroit, June 21.- Two cases of Btnallpox developed yesterday and boíh patients were sent to the hospital n Crawford street. The first case was that of Frank Wynn, a 16-year-old boy who had been boaiding at the Merchante' hotel. Two days ago he was ! sent to St. Mary's hospital as he was not feehng well. Last night Sanitary Inspector Snydei noticed a man sitting in the Clinton Btreet park and on accosting him the man said he was sick. He also stated that he had left the Merchant's hotel 14 days ago and had been since boarding at'the Michigan Exchange, on Randolph street, between Jefferson avenue and Lamed street. Snyder saw that the man was broken out and he placed him in a voting booth and notified the health officer. As soon as Health Officer Schulte heard of the case he went to the Michigan Exchange hotel and placed it under quarantinp restrictions.
