In thedty of rand Rapids on ibe Ü8TI1 day of Juno, at 12 o'clouk noon, for the parpóse oí nominattng party candidates for the foUowlng state offices: Governor, Lieutenant-Governor, Seeretary of State, State Treasurer. Auditor Genera), Attorney General, Commissioner of the State Land Offce. Superintendent of Public Instruction, Membtr of tlie State Board of Education, and ateo two candidates f br Dnited States Senators; for the selection of a State Central Comibittee ti. -erve fortheensulngtwoyears, and for the tranaaction of such otlier business as may properly come before it. Accordins to the rule adopted by the Democratie State Convention, held in Detroit in 1880, and since followed. every county in the state is cntitled to one delégate to the State Convention for each 500 Totes east for Governor at tlie last ireneral tleetion. and one adtlitional delégate for a fraction of not less than 250 votes. Hut each county is entitled to at least two delegates. All delegates musí be residents of the county they represent. The delegates íi-om each congresstonal district are requested lo meet in caucus on the day of the conveniion kt. quarters to be hereafter de-inated tiy the Centra] Commlttee and select candidates for reeommendation to the conventiun as follows, lo-wit : Two members of the State Central Committee, one Vice-President of the Convention and one nemtier for each oí the following committees of the Convention: Oredentiajs, Permanent Organization and Order oí Business and Resolutioiis.
