Hon. L. H. Alexander Dead

Buchanan, June 28. - Hon. L. H. Alexander, well and favorably known in political circles throughout the state, died at his residence in this city, aged 74 years. He was one of the pioneer citizens of Berrien county. and during 53 years' residence in Michigan has enjoyed the respect and confidence of his associates, and filled niany positions of honor and trust. Mr. Alexander served in the capacity of a raember of the state legislatura and state senator, and in political life acquitted himself to the general satisfactiou of his constituency.
