Meeting Of Sons Of Veterans

Three RiVEks, Jnne 27.- The llth annual state cauip, Sons of veterans, met here ïuesday afternoon, with Colonel Fred M. Twiss and Adjutant Will H. Green of Hillsdale in attendance. Colonel Twiss called the meeting to order and the afternoon session was devoted to appointing cotninittees and receiving reports of división officers for the year. In the evening there was a campfire, music by the Three Rivera band. speeches by Rev. James Montgomery, Hon. R. R Pealer and W. W. French, president of the village. She state convention of the L. A. S. of S. of V. is being held in connection with the encampment. Today occurs the election of officers. The choice of colonel lies between F. J. McMurtie of this place and George E. Cogshall of Grand Rapids. Senior vice and junior vice commanders and other officers will be elected also.
