Lansino, July 4. - A dispare li trom Sheriff Eddy of Gogebic county states that a uiob of 4,000 men have contro af the mines, several men have been shot and he is unable to protect men or restore order, that all resources have been exhausted, and to send troops and the more the better. In response the governor placed at his disposal the five companies of the Fifth regiment in the upper penĂnsula under command of Colonel Lyon at Calumet. The governor also received a dispateh from General Manager Heald, Chicago and West Michigan system, that strikers at Delray held trains of the Detroit, Lansiug and Northern, Wabash and Flint and Per3 Marquette and refused to let them move either way. Heald also asked for troops and was referred by the governor to the sheriff of Wayne county, who has authority under the law to demand the service of the six companies of the Fourfh regiment in that locality. It is believed this will be sufficient to restore order there.
