Kev, E. Yager left ïuesday morning Eor a short visit out of town. II. Stevvart, of Toledo, is the guest of his cousin, Miss Lelia Kelley. The ladies will bold their tea social at Mis. Dr. Messic's Tuesday p. vu. Mrs. Mary Wallaoe will entertain the Epwortii League Wednesday p. m. Albert Steidle and luide have retiirned from their pleasant trip to Oluo. Miss Lucy Dexter, of Ypsilanti, was the guest of Nina Hack the first oi the. week. Miss Lena Blinn, of Cass City, was the guest of Mrs. G. E. Williams last week. Mis. Youngs, of Grand Rapids, is the guest of her sister, Mrs. Chas. Gauntlett. Clarence Wisdom is at home. His school at Carlton has closed and he is taking a rest. Mrs. A. Mains and son, of Detroit, are the guests of her parents, Dr. J . C. and Mrs. Harper. The Baptist Sewing Circle will meet with Mrs. Redman, on Ilurd st., Wednesday afternoon. "W. W. Watts and wife, of Ann Arbor, spent Sunday in Milán visiting VV. H. VVhitmarsh and wife. J. Sprague, ot Ann Arbor. was the guest of his daughter, Mrs. G. Williams, the last of the week. Editor A. B. Smith and wife leave Saturday for a pleasure trip through the northern part of the state. C. T. Sill has vat capacity for pickling 240,000 dozen eggs and is well advanced in the filling of them. Each egg is separately tested as to purity of quality and soundness of shell before being admitted to the vat. Milán has struck lts normal conditioii since the departure of the Commonwealers, Friday morning. Thursday Milan was quite excited over the advent of Cochran's división of Coxey's arm.
