Adjudged Insane

Nate Pierce, after medical exatnination, has been adjudged a fit candidate for an insane asylum, by Judge Babbitt. Drs. Kapp and Morton made the examination. The unfortunate man has for some time cherished a grudge against himself and has sèveral times attempted suicide - in one instance by stabbing himself in the arm and at another by swallowing a dose of laudnum while being taken to the ja.il. It is hoped that his case is not so bad but that by proper treatment he may be induced to live on better terms with himself.
