Prof. Mechem and family are at Battle Creek. Prof. George H. Mead and family are at Charlevoix. Dr. Badshaw will depart next week for Charlevoix. Gerhardt Josenhans and family are visiting in Saline. Mr. and Mrs. John Moore, are off for a trip to Frankfort. Robert Staebler is attending the bicycle races at Toledo. Miss Jessica Penny has returned from a visit in Jackson. George Stoll, of Grand Rapids, is an Ann Arbor visitor. Miss Rosa Green has returned to her home in Stockbridge. Ross Granger and family have returned from St. Clair Flats. Mrs. J. W. McCandless is passing a season at Brooklyn, Mich. Dr. John S. Rice and family are at Topinabee for the summer. Eugene Mutscbel and family left Wednesday for northern points. Miss Mattie Drake is spending her vacation at Whitmore Lake. John A. Tice ís breathing his vacati'on air in Detroit and Cleveland. Walter Seabolt is visiting his brother Martin at Manistee and Crystal Lake. Mrs. John W. Millen, of Detroit, is visiting her sister, Mrs. J. W. Morton. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Brown, of Miller avenue, have returned from Zukey lake. Miss Bertha Bonnin leaves today for Stratford, Ont., to visit relatives and friends. Miss Ross, of the telepone exchange, started Wednesday for a visit to Frankfort. The Music Teachers' National Association has rechosen Prof. A. j A. Stanley, president. Mrs. Allison, of Indianapolis, late guest of her sister, Mrs. W. F. Stimson, has returned home. Misses Emma and Anna Jutz, ! turned from their visit, at i mond, Indiana, Wednesday. Mrs. N. D.
