Bank Officials Sentenced

Desvek, July 26.- Judge Hallett, In the United States court, overruled the motion of J. F. Cochran and A. R. Sayre for a new trial and sentenced them to five years eacn in the United States prison at Joliet, Hls. Cochran and Sayre were the president aud cashier, respectively, of the First National bank at Del Norte and the órlense for which they were arrested and couvicted was sending false reports of the condition of the bank to the comptroller of the curreucy.
