Kansas City, Aug. 7.- The Armour Packing cornpany oL Kansas City may prove au important factor in the war between China and Japan, if pending negotintions are c&rried to a successful eud. Recently it reoeived a cablegram from Yokohama from the mikado's government asking for its price on 500,000 pounds of canned corned beef for the Japanse army. The company cabled its answer, and pending a reply, which is expected soon, preparted to go into the business of supplying nieat to the battling Asiatics on a large soale. The company has also opeued neotiations with the Chinese legation at Washington.
