Suicide Of A St. Louis Man

St. LOUIS, Aug. 7.- Thomas J. Haggerty, who has been chief examiner in the Unite States appraiser'a office in this city for the past thirteeu years, was found in tetanic convulsiona in a room at the St. James hotel and died before medical age could reach him. A bottle partly filled with poison was on a table at his bedside and the indicationg poiut to suicide.
