rnaay nigm the norse dnven by John Eisele either actually or pretendedly took fright and tearing down Ann street threw Mr. Eisele out, tangled him in the lines and dragged him to the corner of Main street. He was bruised and cut about tne face and it was found on examination that he had shed several teeth. These, fortunately, were the worst of his injuries. The militia were out on drill that evening and the horse met the boys, while taking his "constitutional" around the square. At the sight of this squad of cavalry bearing down on them at a break neck speed, the boys stood not on the order of going, but took to the trees and fences till the procession passed.
