Minutes of the previous meeting read and approved. The bill of the Al. C. K. R. that was recoinmitted by the Finance Conimittee of the Couneil to the board of Pub lic Works, for a eopv of the contract as to work done by the M. C. R. R. Co., in construction of aiain sewer, was reported by the Clerk and referred by the Board to Mr. Reech, with instructions to report the reo n. Mr. Clark moved that this Board reeouitnênd to the Common Couneil an anii'iuirnent to sidewalk ordinance, that th sidewalks long the east side of S State street betweën Monroe and Ilill streets be buik of plank instead of stone, on account of steep grade at this local i ty. Adopted as follows: Yeas- Messrs. Keech and Clark. On uiotion the Board adjourned. , Clerk.
