Voice From The Sewer
Rev. Andrew Bell, notice of whose death appeared in Tuesday's issue, was faorn in Warwick, N. J., Sept. 7, r8i8, and was married to Miss Susan P. Thompson in 1844. He was ordained to M. E. ministry in 1845 and first had charge of the church at Fenton, Genesee county. His last pastorate was in this city. He was aged 76 years and was the father of eight children, of whom four survive. They are, Mrs. R. C. Parker, of Kansas; Mrs. A. J. Comstock, of Freeport, 111.; and the Misses Helen and Caroline Bell, of Ann Arbor. Death was the result of consumption, from which Mr. Bell had long suffered. The funeral was held yesterday afternoon, Rev. C. M. Cobern, conducting the services.
