The Football Campaign
The Corean war and the politica] campaign will soon pale into insignificance in the red glow of embattled football. Manager Baird of the University team discloses the following engagements and dates: With the Albions at Ann Arbor, Oct. 14; Cornells at Ithaca, Nov. 3; Kansas at Kansas City, Nov. 10; Oberlins at Ann Arbor, Nov. 17; Cornells at Detroit, Nov. 24; University of Chicago at Chicago, Nov. 29. It is further stated that Henninger, Hooper, Villa, Senter, Dygert, Leonard, Band, Freund.Hayes, and Greenleaf will return to the University. Sherman, Morrison, Aldrich and Hollisser will not return; as to the others they have not decided. Manager Baird expects to have a number of new strong men engaged on the team, and claims the outlook better then that of last year.
