Work has been commenced on the Casey bridge, under the management of O. II. Twist. The band boys gave a bowry dance at thaesidence of Frank Collins, on Wedrresday evening. Last Saturday evening Mr. and Mrs. A. L. Wilbur gave a pleasant reception at their home, in honor of their friends, the Misses Briggs and Spauldiug. of Detroit. The entertainment of the evening consisted of music and dancing, after which refreshments were served, and the guests departed after liaving a most enjoyable time. Amona1 those present were Mr. and Mrs. R. Clark, Mrs. E. Gale, Mr. and Mrs. M. Dolby, Mr. Bristol, Miss Ida C!ollins, Mr. Chas, and Misses Hannah aud Ida Thumni.
