Illinois Firemen's Tournament

Edwardsville, Aug. 30- Tha attendance at the state firemeu's tournament was larser and the programma more interesting. First ou the programma was the baad coatest, in which baads from Leclaire, Blue Island, Hillsboro and Mouat Olive participated. Hillsboro won the first prize of $M0 wkh Mount Olive secoad. Moline captured the free-for-all 100 yard hose race; Monmouth look first ia the free-for-all hook aud ladder race, Dixon third. Cousolatiou races- Hose, Effiiiigham; hook and ladder, Savaunah; hub and hose, Effitigliam; hub and hook and ladder, öavannaii.
