John Teddar is on the sick list. M. C. Doty of Carletou is spending a few days iu town. L. H. Miller is building a blacksmith shop on the lot he recently purchased from John Lawson. Walter Herter has returned home Tom the west where he has been for the past four years. P. H. Gabel and wife, of Toledo, have moved iuto the old hotel of this place. School in the Bishop district comnenced Monday last week with Miss VI. B. Dawsou, teacher. Miss Mertie Colf, who has been clerkiug for John Lawson has removed o her home in Wyaudotte, where she wil! take up her old occupation of eaching school. Born to Mr. and Mis. John Kramer, Saturday, Sept lst, a daughter. Dr. Moyer has given up his work at his place and removed to his home at Samarla, from there he talks of going o Ohio. Albert Teddars eider mili will be in unning order this week.
