Washington, Sept. 13.- The president and secretary of Colombia Typographicul unión of tuis city have beeu informally notified that Secretar; Morton, prior to bis departure for Kurope, incrensed the wages oL the uuion printers einployed in the branch printiug office in the department of agiioulture to conform to the unión scale, complaint haviug been made by the unión, lt is said at the department of agriculture tliat the secretary does uot propose to recogaize auy private organizatiou or combiuation in conuectiou with the goverument vvork, and will not auswer the uuion' letter.
