Dr. J. Caro, of Napier, New Zealand, one of whose sons is a gradúate of the medical department of the University, is in the city and Wednesday was a caller at the Argus office. The doctor is an admirer of America and American institutions; also something of a poet. Following are some of the thoughts which the American muse has stirred within him and which he has caught and tied with the poetic string: HAIL AMERICA. Hail America! land of stripes and rising star!
