The apple erop in tliis seetion is good, but the winter apples are ialling badly. Many farmers in this vicinity ure feeding wheat to their hogs with göod results. The road will in future be excellent and of great convenience to the people of Freedom when driving to Ann Arbor. The sotith parocial school of the Salem Lutheran church closed on Friday. Mr. Rhode. the teacher, will open school in the building nearthe church this week, to be continued until January 1.
