Vic Wurster, of Manchester, is i the city visiting friends. Otto Behr, of Detroit, is in th city, visiting his mother. Dr. O. H. Clark, of Kalamazoo is in the city visiting friends. Mr. Robinson, postmasterof Em ery, was in the city yesterday. Prof. Freer and wife and Prol Prescott have returned fromEurope Dr. Wessinger was called to Belle ville on professional business, Tues day. Samuel Krause returned yester day from his business trip in the east. Paul Minnis, of Lansing, is in the city, the guest of his brother, Frank Minnis. Benj. E. O'Neil and Miss Maggie O'Neil returned, Tuesday, from Owosso. Bert Fall is spending a few days with his father, Dewitt C. Fall. in Jackson. Hon. James. S. Gorman and Hon. Thomas E. Barkworth were in the city yesterday. Geo. Lant, sr., of Evansville, Ind., is in the city as the guest oi Wilfred Eames. Dr. E. Unger, of Dundee, is spending a few days visiting old acquaintances in the city. Arthur E. Roth, once of thiscity, now of Chicago, was recently raaried to Miss Maria Buhrer. Editor J. Kurtz, of the Monroe Democrat, was among the visitors o the city today. He brings his on to attend the University. Mrs. James H. Wade and Miss Vade returned last week from a seven weeks' outing at Montreal, White Mountains and the sea shore. Mrs. W. P. Wastell and Jennie VanTuyle, of Clinton, who have been visiting J. A. Polhemus and family the past week, returned home Tuesday. Mrs. A. M. Burleson, of Suspension Bridge, N. Y., and her son John, are visiting Mrs. W. W. Wetmore. They are spending this week with relatives in Stockbridge. Mrs. Wm. Denman, 27 E. Washington street, has just returned from Cleveland, where she has spent the past two weeks visiting friends. Mr. Denman will remain in Cleveland for several weeks.
