On Saturday John Keegan, Villiam Sraith, and John Murphy, hree of the men concerned in reieving George Frohn, the bar-tender of the American House, of a gold watch, Friday night, were before ustice Pond. Murphy, who knockd down Frohn, received sixty lays in the Detroit House of Corection. He would have been sent o Ionia, but Justice Pond could not accommodate hirn. Keegan and Smith received five days each in ail. Ernest Crump was before Justice 3ond yesterday charged with violatng the city ordinance relative to using language not tolerated in )olite society. He plead guilty and )aid $3 fine and $2 costs. On the same day a newcomplaint vas made by Michael Staebler against Paul Tessmer, charging him with embez7.1evnent and larceny, according to the statute. The former complaint was dismissed on Saturday, as it was believed that the charge as stated did not come withn the statute. The examination was adjourned until next Monday, Tessmer giving bonds for his apDearance.
