Boston, Oct. 1. - At a dinner of tho Norfolk club at Young's hotel ex-Senator George F. Edmunds, of Vermont, spoke on political issues. He referred to the industrial turbulente in the west and saying that aliens vrcre the rioters principally said it was due to lax natural ization laws and that "one mission of the Republican party in the future, come good or come 111 for the time boing, is to stand for tho improvemont of naturalizaron laws and their proper administration. The United States in respect to these laws will not be merely cajnping ground of the people of othor countries. There should be no Irish-Americans, (x?rman-Aiiierioan3 or Öwedish-Americans.
