This amouiitwas realized at Christie's forSir Joshua Reynolds' portrait of Lady Betty Delmse, sister of the Earl of Carlisle, with her ohildren, a picture which is v!l known through engruvings. It was put up at 5,000 guineas and was secured by Charles Wertheimer, a dealer, for 11,000 eas.
