Students' Lecture Association

The first of the series in the students' lecture course will be a Iecture by Hon. Thomas B. Reed, October 17. Gen. J. B. Gordon, of Georgia, will deliver an address on "The Last Days of the Confederacy," in November. Murat Halstead will appear in December in " The Relation of Journalism to Public Life." Hon. Wm. E. Russell, of Massacbusetts, will follow in January. In further succession will appear Dr. Talmage, of the Utah University; the University Oratorical Contest, the Lotus Glee Club, Senator John W. Daniel, of Virginia; and one of the following three wellkn.wn gentlemen: Eugene Field, Robert J. Burdette, or Russell Conwell.
