The Inland League
Among the ñames of the many famous speakers to appear on the Inland League course, the present season, is one the announcement of which will give great satisfaction to svery music lover in our city, and who will, no doubt, be listened to oy every reader of musical criticism ot books on musical subjects. This s H. B. Krehbiel, musical critic of the New York World, the greatest Daper in America. Mr. Krehbiel is undoubtedly one of the greatest writers on musical subjects of the present day. His criticisms carry reater weight than almost any other critic of the time. He is the author of "Studies in the Wagnerian Drama"; is associate editor of "Famous Composers and their Works," one of the most exhaustive books on this subject; has translated a great part of Richard Wagner's writings, and is a regular contributor to many of the standard magazines and periodicals. This lecture will be of additional interest to the citizens of Ann Arbor from the fact that Mr. Krehbiel was in his boyhood a resident of this city. His lectures will be illustrated with the piano and singing, and will probably be on one of the subjects, "How to Listen to Music," or on the "Folks Song in America." In consequence of the expense involved in obtaining Mr. Krehbiel to lecture on this course, t will be necessary to charge 50 cents for single admission tickets. Tickets for the full course, twenty ectures, may be obtained for $1.00.
