Marshall, Dis., Oct. 18.- A large oud enthusiastic crowd of Democrats gathercd herc to greet Franklin McVcagh. The speaker was introduced by Hon. H. 0. Bell, dcputy eommissioner of pensions. McVeagh was rëceived with great enthusiiisni and spoke for ov(r an hour. He was followed by George W. Fithian, candidate for congress from tlns district.
