Tha tour which the Vice-President, Adlai R. Stevenson is to make in this state lasts but one day, (Oct. 29th,) and he speaks during that day at Pontiac in the forenoon, at Jackson in the afternoon, and at Detroit in the evening. Vice-President Stevenson wiH probably pass through Ann Arbor, over the Central, on the train due in Ann Arbor at 5:10, and doubtless there will be many people at the train to catch a view of second man of the nation, and raay perhaps get a few minutes talk, though with three addresses that day it is hardly likely that he could grant much more than a hand shake. Many will go from Washtenaw county to Jackson and Detroit to hear him.
