When he carne to the soliloquy, lie made au unusual pause after "To be" - The queeii, believiug that he had forgotteu bis liues, instantly prompted - "or not tobe. That is the question." "By your leave, yourmajesty, " said the tragedian, put out of courtly humor by the iuterrnptiou, "that is not the qneation. The question is my method of interpretation.
