Topera, Kas., Oot. 25.- The flght for the possession of the Atchison.Topeka and Santa Fe railroad looks decidodly uncertain. No onc, not even the representativos of the opposiug factions, can positively teil which side will win at the meeting today. This is not a flght for immediate control, but for the ultímate possession of the property when it comes out of the hands of tho receivers. The case is of paramount interest in Kansas where thousands of people depend for employment on thla system of railway. Tho men who win today will be the ones who will reorganizo the system. But Kansas is nut watching the struggle alone. Many peoplo in London, Arasterdam, Uew York, and Philadelphia, in Boston and all New England are interested in tliis fight. They have given proxies for the shares of stock they hold to representativos of one side or tho other, with the privileges of a recall any time before 10 o'clock last night, and if somo big stockholder should bc won over from one side to the other it might change the whole course of events at tho meeting today.
