Bkistol, Pa., Oct. S9. - A disastrous freight wreek occurred on the Pennsylvaniu railroad, near Croydou Station, last svening in which three men were killed and a score or more injured, some seriously. A construction train having on board about forty laborera pulled up near Croydon and stoppod to take on moro workmen. Whilo the train was at a standstill a íast freight crashed into tho svork train. The trainmen escaped by jumping. Several care were wrecked and in the crash John MoKulty, Stephen Danley and Frank Stone, n of this place, were caught and instantly killed. Of the twenty or more who were injured nearly all also live in Bristol. Three or four are so badly liurt thut they muy die f rom their injuries.
