The Press Correspondents Demur
Washington, Nov. 36. - Domurrerj to the indiotments against the two uewspaper correspondents, John S. Sliriver, oí the New York Mail and Express, and E. Jay Bdwards, of the Philadelphia Press, who refused to answcr qnestions as to the Kource of the information before the senate sugar trust investigation committee, have been filed by Judge A. J. Dittenlioefer, their counsel. They plead all tha poluta that were pleaded by the other dedefendants and in addition the usuu! points made by newspaper men, and that to havo answered the questions would have tended to crimínate tliem and mado them Hable to criminal prosecution.
