St. Louis, Nov. 29. - The silver conference which is being held here undor the auspicos of the American Bimetallie league contlnued lts sessions behind closed doors. The coinuüttee appolnted to prepare a declaration of principies and outline a plan of action could not at flrst ngreu. All wore luiited on free silver at a ratio of 16 to 1, but the difference of opinión, it was savl, was with regard to other matters. The. matter was flnally retened to the conference and a set of ivsolutions adoptod. General Warnor gave out the resolntions. These resolutions, after reciting that rlic fall in pricos was due to the conspiracy of the moBey power to demonetize silver, and deiiouncing the lssuanee oL bonds to inaintain the governnienc credit ud the proposed delegating to banking nstitutions of the right to issue paper nrrenoy, ealls upon the supporters of free ilver to subordínate everything to the lection of men pledged to the ooinage of ilver at the ratio of 16-to-l and provides 'or the appointment of acommittee of flve ,o tako charge of the formation of silver e.-igues in every city and towu in the enire country.
