The claims of the Aan Arbor carriers aggregate someHiing like $4,00(1. The claims in other e.iti es of Michigan make a total of about $40,000 for post offices in the state. Some of the cities have already had their allowance passed by the Court of Claims, notably Lansing! One resultof Mr. Duffy "s visit to the city has been the expediting of the Ann Arbor case, which has been passed by the Court of Claims, and is expected to be reported to the treasury department tomorrow. Before Mr. Dufïv leaves the city the secretary of the treasury will have arranged to recommend to congress that the appropriation for the Ann Arbor carriers be included in the next post office appropriation bill." The claimants of the money are, Will Baxter, George Blum, James O'Kane, and Chris Donnellv, for about $700 each, while Frank O'Hearn, Earl Ware, Will Armstrong, Joe Polhemus, Asa Allen and A.
