Ashtabula, O., Dec. .--'o.- The epidemie of maliguaiit dlplithurla whicli raged llore so fataliy durlüg 'at week has been brought underoontroi. Soveral apparently hopeless cases were treated with the anti-toxiiie remedy and the result was very gi-atifylng. Out of half a dozen cases treated wlth the new remedy all but one are reooverlng. So far there have been seveiity-nine cases and sixteen deaths.
