Scientific Academy Officers

At the conclusión of the first annual meeting of the Michigan Academy of Sciences held at Lansing last week, officers were chosen as follows: President, Bryant Walker, Detroit; vice presidents, Henry B. Baker, Lansing, in charge of section on sanitary science; Frederick C. Newcombe, Ann Arbor, in charge of section of botany; Jacob E. Reighard, Ann Arbor, in charge of section of zoology; secretary, Charles A. Dávis, Alma; treasurer, E. A. Strong, Ypsilanti.
