Miss Jeannette E. Caldwell and Dr. Chas. Mix were united in marriage last Thursday evening at the residence of the bride's parents,Mr. and Mrs. W. E. Caldwell, of Willard street, the ceremony being performed by Rev. Mr. Caldwell, father of the bride, assisted by Rev. J. W. Bradshaw. The wedding took place in the presence of about thirty guests and relatives. Mr. and Mrs. Mix will be "at home" after February 4, at 990 Warren avenue, Chicago. At 2:30 Thursday afternoon occurred the wedding of Miss Ruth Butts and Louis C. Carson, at the home of Mrs. E. J. Butts, mother of the bride, at No. 50 Washtenaw avenue, Rev. J. W. Bradshaw performing the ceremony. The couple departed on the evening train for Houghton, Mich., where the groom is a teacher in the public schools.
