Rev. and Mrs. T. V. Voung held a charming reception on Monday evening in honor of Mrs. Fisher and daughter, of Louisville, Ky. A fine program was arranged, consisting of solos by Mrs. Beman and Miss Minnie Davis, recitations by Misses Smith and Alexander, and a poem by Henry Ed. Nathomb, "the Iowa poet." Mrs. Voung has distinguished herself as a very pleasing hostess, and the evening's enjoyment will be long remembered. Mrs. Fisher and Miss Oio return to Kentucky the last of the week.
