New Manager Of Star Clothing House
The Detroit Tribune of Tuesday contains the following. "Mr. Edward Wolfel, who for the past 15 months has been connected with the clothing department of J. L. Hudson's big store, retires this week to take up the management of the Noble Star clothing house, at Ann Arbor. Mr. Wolfel holds the esteem and good will of his late employers, and is only released by them that he may better himself. "Mr. Wolfel was born in Lexington, Mich., on Sept. 29, 1860, where, when he had attained sufficient age, he began his business career by entering the establishment of S. C. Tewksbury & Co., with whom he remained for nearly r8 "Leaving this firtn he carne to Detroit, entering the employ of J. L. Hudson, Sept. i, 1893. Mr. Wolfel is a member of King Cyrus chapter, R. A. M., of this city, and also oi Lexington Commandery, K. T., o! Lexington, Mich. His host of friends, both in this city and Lexington, will join the Tribune in wishing him untold success in his new field and most heartily recom raending him to the business men of Ann Arbor and the general public, with whom he will come in contact as manager of the Noble Star clothing house."
