Ann Arhor, Jan. 2, 1895. Editor Argus: The State Teachers' association, at their meeting at Lansing last veek, passed a resolution asking the legislature to enact a law that no teacher who uses tobacco should be employed in our schools, and we have noticed that two parents in Ann Arbor have entered a protest against this habit of teachers in the high school here, which we most emphatically endorse. Let all parents join in this. There are so many teachers who have the degrees of A. M., M. S., and Ph. D., whom we can engage at once to take the places of all who have acquired the tobáceo habit that this matter should not be minced. Let those who use it quit for ever r be asked to present their resignation ïtnmediately.
