Chicago, Dec. 31.- Neglecting to hang a red lantern ít the end of a train caused the wreek of two Chicago, Burlington & Quincy freight trains nt Sixteenth and Union streecs. An engino, tender and freight car were badly smashed and thrco persous were hurt. The injured aro: Imle Allen, conductor, Internsl injuries and cut by splinters; Daniel Crawford, engineer, jumped from cab and sustained body bruises; Richard Wnlsh, flremon, pinned in his cab and f'rightfully scalded.
